Sedna, Dmitry and Arthur replace Daniel
Daniel Torrico will be replaced at the Matangi concerts in the near future by 3 great colleagues who have also played with us earlier. Sedna Heitzman and Dmitry Ivanov take turns during our Stop de Tijd Tour and also play at our Matangi Moments and the (Un)Heard Festival. Arthur Rusanovsky alternates Sedna on our Canto Ostinato tour.
Dmitry is originally from Uzbekistan. He has lived in the Netherlands since 1993, where he was admitted to the Rotterdam Conservatory in 2006. As laureate of the Princess Christina Competition, he has given recitals in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Vancouver, among others. He also played a role in a docu-drama about a young violinist in Suriname. Nowadays he is also a violinist in the newly founded Skazka Quartet with which he won the Storioni Competition in 2022.
Arthur is a real Amsterdam Russian and comes from a very musical family. Together with his father and sister he forms the Trio Rusanovsky. He also regularly participates in the ArteVita Ensemble. Arthur organizes his own concert series: Rusanovsky & Friends.
