Matangi complete again with violinist Hannelore De Vuyst

On January 14th, Daniel played his last concert as a member of Matangi. The three of us decided to take the time to find a successor. Thanks to some fantastic substitutes, we were able to continue our concerts, but we have some news to share! The nearly year-long search for a new second violinist is complete. As of now, Hannelore De Vuyst is our new second violinist. Hannelore is an immense enthusiast with an infectious drive and boundless curiosity. Not only as a player but also as a personality, she is a valuable addition to Matangi. Hannelore possesses the right tools to make us complete again. We look forward to shaping the future of Matangi with her, and we hope that everyone will enjoy her as much as we already do. With this exciting addition, Matangi is eagerly gearing up for its 25th anniversary in 2024.

"For me, Matangi is a special ensemble because of its beautiful playing, diverse repertoire, and the musical and personal warmth, years of experience, and love for the string quartet. I consider myself fortunate to be part of it now and am very excited about the future!" - Hannelore De Vuyst

Welcome Hannelore!

ben benieuwd
Ik ben de laatste tijd veel bezig met muziek uit de Balkan,is altijd een favoriet van mij geweest.
Ooit kwartetten gespeeld uit de vroegere joegoslavische delen? Bijvoorbeeld Josip Slavenski?
